EYFS - Acorns

This what we have been up to in Nursery and Reception this year.
This afternoon we have been learning about the Artist Jackson Pollock. We made our very own Jackson Pollock picture using paint brushes to splatter paint. Some of our children even now have Jackson Pollock welly boots.
Little Acorns made up a beautiful autumn dance. Can you guess what some of their moves are?
We had fun in PE using the large gymnastics equipment. We had to think about how we use the equipment safely.
We had lots of fun in Acorns doing a squiggle while you wiggle, this means we move in time to some music mark making. We even used our feet to mark make today.
We went on a lovely Autumnal walk. We found so many conkers.
Well we have only been in school for a few days when we we heard the very sad news about the Queen. We talked about her life and then we watched the video of Her Majesty meeting Paddington Bear, which made us all smile. Then in her memory we all made marmalade sandwiches.
