Our School

balloonsgoing...

Our school was opened in 1973 as Milwards Primary School.  On Tuesday 30th April 2013 we celebrated our 40th birthday with each child releasing a red balloon.

The Nursery was opened in September 2000 and the school name changed to Milwards Primary School and Nursery.

The school grounds are very attractive and are used for environmental work throughout the school.  A small copse, established trees, hedges, a wild area and grass slopes provide a range of habitats to study.  We have two bee hives which are used to produce honey.

The school is accessible for anyone with disabilities.

At Milwards Primary School and Nursery we challenge each child to reach their ‘Maximum Potential’ in an inclusive environment where difference is celebrated.
