Morning.Just to let you know the children all slept well and are up and ready for breakfast. They are looking forward to a fun packed day.

We've had a great day today. Very busy visiting Holyrood House, where the children built on their knowledge about Mary Queen of Scots. Followed by a quick walk up the Royal Mile to the castle where we continued learning about Mary and some dressing up opportunites. We then went to Camera Obscura, where we could see optical illusions in all different forms.

Evening meal at Pizza Express was delicious. And now after climbing Arthurs's Seat and a gentle roll down a small hill, all the children are fast asleep.

We've had another brilliant day. the weather has been good, just a light drizzle this evening. The children were very excited going to Inchcolm Island, especially seeing the seals basking in the sun! Dynamic Earth was very interesting. The children found out about how the earth was formed. Very good links to our geography and science. The evening meal was delicious in Prezzo. We then did some orienteering, following a map and clues to find different things on The Royal Mile.
